Just Released Short Documentary on MASS MoCA Commission

Painting to Scale follows painter Barbara Prey as she undertakes the unprecedented challenge of creating the world's largest known watercolor painting for MASS MoCA's Building 6.  The painting marks the raw industrial space before its transformation into a contemporary museum space. At 8 by 15', it's not only the largest watercolor, but a stunning visual meditation on space, stillness, and transformation.  Composer Todd Reynolds scored the film with musical contributions by Gregg August.
