Short Documentary on MASS MoCA Commission

We are happy to announce the release of Barbara Prey's short documentary Painting to Scale. The film follows Prey as she undertakes an uprecedented challenge to paint the world's largest known watercolor painting for MASS MoCA's Building 6. The painting marks the raw industrial space before its transformation into a contemporary museum space. At 8 by 15', it's not only the largest watercolor, but a stunning visual meditation on space, stillness, and transformation.
